Night Time Routine

Brody loves his night time routine! He loves his bath, until it's time to soap up. I guess that's a boy thing. Brody also loves it when Brad wraps him up in a towel to get dried off. Then, it's on to the changing table for a clean diaper and his sleeper. Ok, I don't know if other babies do this but Brody flips and turns whenever we are trying to change his diaper or get him dressed. I have nicknamed him "The Twister." I need some duct tape!

Since Brody's hair is getting longer I can style it multiple ways. No hair products were needed, just a little bit of dirt and water.

Brody has really turned into a ham when a camera is pointed towards him. I think it's the flash that he likes. So many smiles and giggles!

Running To The Bath

When it's time for Brody's bath we have a new game to play. Brad strips Brody naked in the other room while I'm fillingl the tub. Brody then makes a running, er, crawling bee line to the bathroom. Below are some action shots...

During the Smith family gathering Brody and cousin JT got to hang out together again. JT is my cousin Shannon's little boy who is one month younger than Brody. Watching them play was great!

Smith Family Gathering

This past weekend we went to a family get-together with my side of the family. The gathering was great and Brad caught two nice size bass! Brody had a total of 45 minutes dedicated for naps...the whole day. Yikes! He actually did really well and had a great time.

Weekend At The Ranch

Chip and Kristin invited the three of us to their ranch down in the hill country for a last hoorah since they are selling it later this month. Here are some random pictures from our trip.

Poor Lil' Old Thang

This week was a bad week for our little Brody. He started getting sick Tuesday afternoon and it went down hill from there. He had his nine month check yesterday and our doc said to keep an eye on Brody. Well, Turkey started running a 102.8 temp last night and had a horrible morning. We ended up back in the doctors office this afternoon and got a diagnosis of eye and sinus infection. Lovely. Brody got some antibiotics and we were sent on our way. The pics below were taken today. Poor Lil' Old Thang!

It looks like someone punched Brody in the eye.
