Easter Holiday

For Easter weekend Mom and Dad came in for a visit. We actually made it to the 8am Easter service at church and then had brunch at a country club on Lake Lewisville. Debbie and Bryan came to church and brunch with us!

Sweet Pea's 19 Week Sonogram

Today we had our 19 week sonogram with our maternal-fetal medicine doctor and got these great pictures. Dr. Koster said it was too early to do 3D pictures but we did do high-resolution shots. Sweet Pea is about nine inches long and weighs around 10oz, close to the size of a Coke can. Dr. Koster wanted to know who was tall in our family because she said Sweet Pea is going to be tall. :) Brody is also very tall for his age too! Basketball and volleyball here we come....

Sweet Pea is looking straight at you! You can actually see the lens of her eyes which is kind of freaky. But, at least she has eyes right? She also has a very round belly with her hand between her face and belly. :)

We've been washing Brody's hands on our own but now we have started letting him do it himself. He doesn't want to stop and gets angry when we turn the water off.

Seriously Bad Hair

The other day Brody woke up from his nap with some seriously bad hair. He was in need of a hair cut too.

His hair actually reminded me of the lead singer from the 80's band Flock of Seagulls. Maybe not....

It's Still A Girl!

We had our 18 week OB check up today with a regular sonogram. The sono showed that we are having a girl, so our maternal-fetal medicine doc was right at 12 weeks! I didn't post the sono picture of the girly area but here's another picture that we got. Our little girl is doing a face plant which we hope isn't common after she's born. Ha! You can see a great shot of her spine and belly. Our OB said everything looks great! We see our maternal-fetal medicine doctor next Thursday and hope to get better looking pics.

S-N-O-W!!!

Today was Brody's first time to experience snow! A girlfriend of mine is from Wisconsin and gave us her son's old snow suit. Brody was walking around like Ralphy's younger brother from "A Christmas Story." Poor guy wasn't very happy and didn't know what to think of the snow. Brad and I are hoping his feelings change when we want to throw some snow skis on his feet and push him down the mountain. So far this evening we've had four inches of snow and are expecting a little bit more tonight. Yipee!!

Ummm...Brody wasn't very happy. His poor nose was so red and his eyes were watering.
