Last Visit

This morning was my last OB visit with Maggie and we had our usual non-stress test. Maggie looks great which is a blessing. My blood pressure is good too! Unfortunately, our little stinker is still breech and she has three days to flip or else we buy a c-section. I guess I'm ok with it, what's one more scar? :) Shoot, I've given birth one way...why not try the other way!

Tomorrow is Brody's 2nd birthday, we can't believe we were going through the same experience exactly two years ago. He'll be having a small bash with family since we didn't know when Maggie was going to come or how "sick" I was going to be. Next year, he'll have a nice little party with all of his preschool friends.

Brad will post an email Monday as soon as Miss Maggie makes her way into this world. We want to thank everyone for the prayers offered up to the Lord over the past few months. Both Brad and I have always known that God is in control and that He does everything for a reason. Please pray for both Maggie's and my health and safety on Monday. Pray that Brad has the strength to deal with a psycho wife, a new little girl and a two year old son. ;)

May God bless everyone....

Breech??

Brad and I went for our last sonogram of Maggie today. To our surprise Miss Maggie is now breech. Blah!! I know exactly when she turned except I didn't know that's what she was doing. So, since we still have our induction date set for August 4th we will be looking at a c-section that day instead. My OB says she can still turn for us which is good but Brad and I doubt that will happen. My blood pressure has gone up too which is to be expected. So, we could potentially have Maggie anytime between now and next Monday. It just depends on what my blood pressure decides to do. I have also been put on strict bed rest so don't tell Brad or my mom that I'm writing a post. :) I'll keep everyone updated....

Again??

I went to my OB for my weekly NST (non-stress test) this morning and my blood pressure was high again. Soooo, my OB sent me over to labor and delivery for more monitoring. While there my blood pressure went back to "normal" and everything was fine. Maggie looks and sounds good too. Had some contractions while we were there which is great! I didn't know that's what they feel like but I've been having them at home too. We will be going to the hospital Sunday night, the 3rd, for the induction. This is what we did with Brody and it was fine. The time is getting close to meeting Miss Maggie and I couldn't be any more ready! Stick a fork in me....I'm done. :)

We Have a Date!

As long as everything continues to go well Maggie Lynn will come into this world on August 4th. Our last sonogram showed that she weights 6lbs 6oz, but we know that sonos can be a little off. :) We have also been told that Miss Maggie has LOTS of hair which will be fun to play with. I just hope it's not a baby mullet!! She is a little mess pot and enjoys jamming her toosh under my ribs. Maggie also has the hiccups all the time which is a good thing. We'll keep everyone updated about the weeks to come.

Our Sweet Boy

Over the past few weeks I've been able to take some super sweet pictures of Brody. We can't believe our little guy is getting ready to turn two!

A sweet face...

Going to the water park to play.

Being a stinker at lunch.

Double diggin' for gold. It's sort of an evil picture huh!

Brody got a hold of the camera and took a self portrait.

Playing in a storage container.

After Mae Mae and Brody get back from their morning walk they play in the backyard for awhile. Brody loves to play in the sprinkler and wants to be stripped down to nothin' to do so. He climbs all over his swing set and likes to chase Mae Mae with the water hose. He even tried to come into the house with the sprinkler in his hands.
